WHO WE ARE
We are one of the very few wedding bands in Scotland that have chosen to abandon the traditional wedding band vibe and do some something different.
We are not the band who play Brown Eyed Girl or dance The Slosh. We are the band for music lovers whose tastes were a bit more alternative, a bit more Emo, Pop Punk, 80s and 90s Rock and Guitar Driven Indie.
We also offer, as standard, male and female vocals, live ceilidh with calling and a powerhouse backing band full of energy.
Our Journey
The band was started in 2009 as a response to the traditional wedding band which was tired and over exposed! We wanted to feel the energy and excitement of seeing your favourite band right in front of you... but at a wedding!
Having spent so much time on the road, it became clear that crowds were much more turned on by music that many other bands would never go near. Playing music that is over 50 years old doesn’t inspire today's brides and grooms… nor their guests either.
In 2020, forced into limbo by the pandemic, we took stock of where we were and started to look closely at where our successes lay. It was more than obvious that the more ‘rock’ tunes went down better than the ‘old classics’ so we made a bold decision to start filtering them out in favour of a more alternative set. This made an enormous difference to our live shows and kicked each and every one into overdrive.
The rest, as they say, is history!
What We Do
Quite simply, we bring bangers to the dance floor all night. Played with passion and power by 6 professional musicians. Everything we do is designed to give you the ‘real band’ experience at your wedding.
Every member of the band is a professional musician with years of experience playing live and in the studio. This isn’t something we do on the side or as a hobby. This is our lives and our livelihoods.
Our standard package gives you the option of amazing covers all night, or a blend of ceilidh and covers. We will happily play your first dance and take requests in advance.
We work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. This is your night, not ours!
